Wendy’s Tale, written by Alan Haehnel, was presented by Nelson High School as part of the National Theatre School DramaFest. The comedy follows Wendy, an incredibly intelligent student who struggles with traditional testing because her imagination constantly takes over. As she moves from childhood into her high school years, her tests come alive around her, with answers becoming characters, vocabulary words battling it out, and Wendy’s creativity continually getting in the way of what is expected on the page.

The Nelson High School production advanced to the Regional level of National Theatre School DramaFest.
