Stage management
I thrive in the details, the people, and the problem-solving. Stage Management lets me bring a production to life through organization, communication, and collaboration while supporting a creative, safe environment for everyone involved.
I use light to support the story, shape, and atmosphere, guiding the audience’s focus. My designs are grounded in research and a clear understanding of the production’s world and emotional journey

PLAN
PREPARE | ORGANIZE | COLLABORATE
Pre-production builds a strong foundation. I work closely with the director, creative team, and production team to understand the vision and break down the script, and create the systems needed for a smooth rehearsal and performance process
Every design begins with research. From understanding the script to collaborating with your creative team, the stage is about asking questions and finding inspiration to build a clear visual direction and design.

Inspired by the iconic Schneiders and Jesus Saves signs along Ontario’s Highway 401, the play follows Catherine after her car spins out during a snowstorm, and she finds herself in the strange world of Schneider and Jesus Saves. As she becomes caught in the middle of their troubled relationship, the production explores themes of love, selfishness, greed, power, and what happens when a giver finally decides to take.

EXECUTE
This is where ideas become reality. I translate the concept into a workable design, create and refine paperwork, collaborate during research, and program the show to bring the world of the production to life.
REHEARSE | TRACK | SUPPORT | SOLVE
During production, I keep the show moving. I facilitate communication, support the creative team, track changes, document the process and call the show, ensuring everyone has the information needed to do their best work

COMPLETE
FINALIZE | REFLECT | ARCHIEVE
Post-production is about trying everything together. I complete final documentation, return borrowed materials, support the strike process and reflect on what worked and what I can take forward to future productions.
The final stage is seeing the design in front of an audience. I make final adjustments, document the production, and reflect on what I worked on, what I learned, and how I can continue to grow as a designer
