Beginning’s End

Show Description

Beginning's End, written by August Frade and Chloe Milner, was presented by Nelson High School at NTS DramaFest 2025. The reflective piece centres on growth, grief, change, and the idea that moving forward does not mean leaving the past behind.

The story follows a recently graduated student as he reflects on his relationship with his girlfriend. While those around him believe the two simply broke up, it is gradually revealed that she passed away in a car accident. Through his memories of their relationship, the production explores the emotional complexity of loss and transition, and how the people and experiences that shape us remain part of us as we begin a new chapter.
