FESTIVAl Description

The 2024 Junior Arts Festival (JARTS) at Nelson High School showcased four student-led productions designed to give younger students hands-on experience in live theatre. Grade 11 and 12 students wrote and directed each production, while Grade 9 and 10 students performed, giving the senior students the opportunity to take on creative leadership roles while mentoring the next generation of Nelson theatre students.

I served as Festival Stage Manager for all four productions, overseeing the festival as a whole.
