Edge Of The Universe

The Gas Station at the Edge of the Universe, written by Trinity Tacknyk, was presented at York University’s Playground Festival. The play follows Sawyer, a recent university graduate who returns to their hometown in rural northern Canada and reunites with their childhood best friend, Casey. As masked creatures begin seeking them out and their once-familiar hometown becomes increasingly unrecognizable, the two are forced to confront their past, their relationship, and the realities they have tried to leave behind. The production explores friendship, forgiveness, change, and learning to let go.
